Sustainability +
Planning
Jam is a sustainability + planning consultancy with offices in Glasgow and Berlin working throughout the UK.
“ We are at a unique stage in our history. Never before have we had such an awareness of what we are doing to the planet, and never before have we had the power to do something about that. Surely we all have a responsibility to care for our Blue Planet. The future of humanity and indeed, all life on earth, now depends on us.”
SIR DAVID ATTENBOROUGH
JAM
Jam is a sustainability + planning consultancy with offices in Glasgow and Berlin working throughout the UK. The practice was set up by Jane Mulcahey in 2006 and brings together the two disciplines of sustainability + planning to ensure the delivery of sustainable development.
Planning provides the mechanism to ensure that sustainable development is achieved and is crucial for its successful delivery. Emphasis needs to move from a focus on pure economics to a recognition that social and environmental factors are equally important for balanced, sustainable communities to be realised.
In order to show the company’s commitment to sustainable development Jam has become a member of the SME Climate Hub, part of the United Nations Race to Zero initiative. The initiative encourages businesses to measure emissions and set targets to curb emissions from both the organisation's internal and external operations.
